Just a question to the people who played either (or both) of these games , are they worth going back to and playing?, i started out with Morrowind and have really enjoyed it, the same with Oblivion and Skyrim Are they fun games to play? and one more question, are they the hardest elder scrolls games to play?
They are definitely worth playing. In my personal opinion Daggerfall is more fun (interesting, immersive?) than the three last games.
As for the difficulty... Just like all the other installments they are basically as difficult as you make them. You can "break" them with custom spells and character creation, or have decent challenge playing "legitly".

Thanks for the reply , i might think about playing it then, and is daggerfall the biggest elder scrolls game ever?
Daggerfall is the biggest by two orders or magnitude. That's not an exaggeration.
However, I think Arena is more fun. The combat and controls, oddly, work a little better and the world has more variety, even though the square mileage is a lot smaller. As much as I like Daggerfall, I think it's a bit bloated.
i'm currently playing through Arena (although Skyrim will be delaying it half a year or something) and all i can say is that i love it and i cant wait to play Daggerfall.
Daggerfall is great. If you started with Morrowind then you might not like DF straight away, much in the same way that someone who started with Oblivion or Skyrim might have trouble getting into MW, but persevere my friend because it's worth it.
I've just started Daggerfall - the combat seems a little difficult to get to grips with. Most of the time holding the right mouse button and moving it to form attacks doesn't do a thing...
