The wh leveling up happens is it oblivion or fallout style? Also what do you get to do when you level up, do add points to things or do you just get perks?

Both. Happens anywhere you want, but you chose when to do it.

You add points to your Health/Magicka/Stamina, and you get a Perk to spend. Or thats how it worked last I checked.

Do you know if you have to go to a bed to level up like in Oblivion? I hated that - getting my level as I enter a dungeon, then having to see that symbol constantly till the next time I was in a town an hour later. :-/

It's instant and you can even save perks to use them all at once. Just access the skills menu to see your skills and assign perks.

You don't have to sleep and you can keep the perk point until you are ready to spend it.

You'll get a message that you leveled up but nothing will happen until you enter the skills menu, then a window pops up asking what stat to put 10 points into.

So sleeping and bedrolls are ccompletely useless now other than to to recover health. Bit of a fail in my eyes I liked the idea of leveling up while out on a quest then comming home to get a nice rest and level up! Don't get me wrong i am looking forward to the game and I know I will love it but taking out all thease little features just so the game apeals to casual gamers and lazy gamers is realy annoying.....

But saving up perks is pretty obvious as perks are also tied to skill level. So at times you wont be able to select the next perk in the tree until you level that particular skill up.
