Let's get things straight

Patience is a virtue, my young padawan.

If you really can't stand it, just go stick yourself in a deep freezer at the grocery store for 48 hours. If you live when someone thaws you out, it be SKYRIM time!

And he'll be a full jedi? Just like that?

I can wait 2 more days, but now I am starting to see why there are console wars.

How is it fair that console players get to play it ahead of us, while us honest PC gamers who abide by the 11/11/11 release date are the ones getting shafted?
Should rule-abiding gamers be rewarded and console gamers who benefit from broken street dates be punished?

Where it the fairness? Why only a certain group of gamers have to abide by the 11/11/11 release date and the rest don't have to?

What's the point in having a fixed release date if it is not consistent with everyone?

It's only fair if no one gets to talk about this silliness.

Luckily Valve and many stores are still playing by the rules. Unfortunately, not every one does.
