Oblivion didnt really have 360 controller support on PC as far as i could tell, but I see them including support for it because I am sure a lot of players want the pc quality graphics but prefer the controller controls.

I use my controller to fly in BF3.

Also, the headset can send VC through the headset and audio through my surround sound with no issues using either Vent or TS and Skype.
