Well Done Bethesda...NOT!

Pete has stated they aren't goof to have multiple languages for skyrim on steam. So no changing it to English. Same goes with xbox/ps3 versions. All games have one language per region.
ive heard ps3 has multiple languages on disc

The lip synchronization of the characters of the game was done for the English language. That's why their appears to be sync failure if the game's played in Italian, German or any other language.

But we can't expect for the entire game to be re-written, graphics included, for each language!!

The title of this thread is a bit misleading.

Recently i watched a few videos of the german version and ONE thing has to be said: the synchro is a crime against mankind!! Well done Bethesda i applaud you. Creating the most awaited RPG of this generation and not giving a flying [censored] about the syncho is beyond my understanding. Maybe the next time you hire some speakers who can read a text with a bit of emotion. Instead we get unskilled uninterested "speakers" who sound like depressive robots...
And the fact that you can't change the audio to english waa also a brilliant decision :( Well, i think i'll pass this game, thank you VERY much.

I don't suppose there's even the slightest possibility that the video you watched had poor audio synchronization?

Don't get me wrong - i will get the game sooner or later but i have to order the english version and can't by the german on day one...and there are a few titles out there that have excellent german synchro - just hire professional speaker they are not THAT hard to find. And yes its a damn DRAMA :D

EDIT: I dont't mean the lip sync - just plain bad speakers IMO.

No one said they're hard to find, but I already know that Germany treats its professional actors a lot better than the US. It would cost a small fortune to hire professionals in every single region.

Steam downloads language depending on what prefferences your steam is set to. I cant imagine that it would be any different with Skyrim.

I do like the german synchronization. In my opinion it's done very well.

But it's a matter of taste and surely NOT a crime against mankind.

Sorry, but a developer in the U.S. isn't going to hire professional voice actors for spanish, german, french, and whatever else... you could go play a German RPG I suppose. I'm sure it will be just as good as Skyrim...

Learn english, problem solved.

English is the international language, and you seem to understand it, so what's the problem?

I think there are now enough unnecessary remarks in this topic to call it finished.
