Brownouts, Mw3 and a day at home

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 12:19 am

Well, hello fellow gamer, I recently rented mw3 on my birthday yesterday to await my present and midnight release of anytime tomorrow. My parents let me stay home and I had been playing mw3 for two hours when everything brownouts. Now I started up my ps3 and it started up fine but im worried that my famous bad luck will render it inoperable the day before the midnight release please reassure me and tell me that one hard shutdown wont cause it to fail.

You will be fine.

However, during a brownout I unplug any and all electronics from the wall plates. It is not the Brownouts that cause problems, it is when voltage is restored to the lines that all kinds of spikes and surges and noise can come through the mains wreaking havoc on the parts.
