Yo all, I pre-ordered my game with Play.com, it said 3-5 working days delivery and it got sent off yesterday? I will be so pissed if it comes on Friday when everyone else is gonna play it at midnight on Thursday night, also considering my post comes at about 1pm on week days.

Anyone else have problems like this?

Yeah, my toaster at home stopped working so I can't eat toast until I'm at work!

That is so funny, you know the part where I said "Anyone else have problems like this?" and you reply with other day to day problems that sort of sound like my problem but actually don't. Oh man I can't stop laughing. /chuckle.

Play.com was a bad choice. They've always taken ages to get my orders to me. I pre-ordered from GAME, they normally get my order to me the day before release day. I have a backup plan though... if it doesn't arrive tomorrow, I'll buy it on Steam so I can play it at midnight; then just get a refund for the sealed version. (or sell it on)
But that won't work for you if you're not a PC gamer.

Yeah Play might not be the best choice nowadays. They used to be great for getting pre-orders early..i got Oblivion from them a day before release date, but i think they have gone downhill now.
Was gonna go with `em but glad i went with Amazon now.

Sorta have to disagree, though I've only ordered 2 games from play.com. I live in Finland and I got both of those games 3 days after shipping.

That's actually a pretty good idea. The only reason I bought it on Play was because it was ￡5 cheaper than anywhere else. Kinda wish I paid the extra fiver now for a reliable delivery date. I got some money lying around so am gonna purchase the Steam version now and sell on the Play copy. Cheers for the mature answer.

Alternatively just wait till tomorrow until my post arrives, if it doesn't arrive I just download of Steam then and the pre-load will be done by midnight. Happpppppy days.

I've never had anything from play.com prior to the official release date. Amazon and Play have never done it but Game has a 100% success rate getting me the game on the Thursday.

In the NE of Scotland, and it seems that most of the despatch bases are down south, so a release day delivery can never be guaranteed.

ASDA on Friday will do fine.
