Getting the most out of Skyrim, visually and audio..ly.. : V

Sooo.. i was sitting here praying that my Skyrim would come tommorow if not 11/11/11.. when i thought.. "hmm, my TV could so totally kick-up the visuals and audio a notch! I should prepare for Skyrim!" So i went on a mad adventure through cyber-space, putting in my model number and best calibration settings tips.. i got nothing... so i was wondering if any one could help me and give me tips on the best HDTV settings for my TV? Either in-general or wether you know something or two about my specific model... LCD72-921.. its TECHNIKA.. thanks in advance guys ;D

EDIT: Should probably add.. i play XBOX on 1080p settings... ^_^

but other than that im not sure what i should set my video and audio settings to..

Don't install the game into the HDD, play it on the disc-> better graphics

Calibrate a TV?....\
I think you need some sort of kit for that

If you play off the DVD wont there be more lag and load time involved? I don't know, I use a PC.

Don't forget to hook up your system to an AV-Receiver. You almost can't get a better sound... :celebration:

I fgured out one of my DVD's has a THX optimizer.. would that make it any better or does that only make it better for DVD's? :/

Sounds like this will be only for DVD.

Get for example a Denon 1311 (it was overkill for my PC, but relatively cheap), get some speakers and a subwoofer, and you'll ask yourself why you didn't do this years ago (at least i did).

The only problem is that you might get addicted to good sound. Right now i'm scraping money together as the new speakers will cost me ~1500-2000€ (i might need some time for that, but good 5.1 is worth every cent you put into the system)...

Thing is, im still a college student and ive also only just started making my own money, and am still forced to share my bedroom with brothers, and other than my area (desk, computer, games consoles), i am not able to fix up my set-up any more than just making a few tweaks to my tv monitor settings xD
