I've finally returned to the forums after 8 months of not reading up on anything Skyrim related...so I have a lot to catch up on...I know I know I can always wait for the game >.> but the experience will be even better when I know what to expect.

Fishing in some way shape or form is available(with your hands)=nice, smithing weapons, as well as armor(I think), hunting(technically just shooting animals with a bow), woodcutting, crafting spells, alchemy ingredients, poisons, decapitating...you can get married, I can go on and on but I have several questions, would be great if someone can answer or link me to a well organized article or a sticky confirming all the new features;

Question: Can we farm, enchant weapons with a spell(like in Oblivion), and mine for materials like rocks/metals with a picaxe?


That's pretty much all the general features I'm curious about, as for everything else; I will find out in the game!

I'm 99% certain item enchanting is in.

You can't farm as far as I know, you can go around cutting wood and picking plants though.
You can enchant weapons/armor it's a skill
You can mine for materials.

Thank you, I don't know where I got farming from but I recall that Todd and the devs wanted to incorporate farming into Oblivion but couldn't(probably programming reasons, or time constraints) and there are even farms present in Oblivion...so I just figured it would be a nice 'perk' for Skyrim . Of course...farming in such cold would be difficult LOL.

Thanks for the confirmation, I can't believe mining has been confirmed...this will replace even MMO's for me. I loved Morrowind and Oblivion, but Skyrim sounds like TES heaven.
