Just got call from Gamestop

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 4:09 am

Well just got a call from Gamestop to come between 10 and midnight tomorrow to pay the full price and then come back at midnight and get the game. They have only 3 CE guides has only 3 of us pre ordered it. He told me it is in great demand and only 3 of us in the area that will have it. I will get the book when I go there at 10 so will have the guide to look at while I wait for midnight to get the game.

Seriously, why the [censored] hasn't mine called. Also, should I be worried if 300+ people per-ordered in my town of 50k+ people? :(

I received a text message An hour ago saying the same thing(come in at 10, finalize payment etc etc). Good thing I payed in full when I preordered!

Also, I called the other day to see if they were doing a midnight release and the guy said to come in between 6-8 to get a ticket or something? I got the impression it's like the deli line tickets, but I dunno? I'm going there at 6 to get whatever he was talking about though!

No, because most of them likely won't show for the midnight release. It is possible it will be busy, but I would say anything more than 50 is dramatically pushing it.

I really dont mind. I got real life stuff to do. Getting it on midnight would make no difference whatsoever. I cant afford to go to bed at 4am that night.
