Hey, I looked up the requirements for Skyrim on a PC, but I'm really not good at this kind of stuff and don't really know how my stuff lines up with the minimum and recommended specs. Mind helping me out? I've heard different things from different people.

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC, not quite half a year old. 6 gigs of RAM, 64-bit Windows Vista. The Graphics Card name is Intel® HD Graphics Familiy, and it says it has 1696 MB of video memory.

So will my PC be able to run this game (I'm willing to lower the graphics settings all the way), or should I play it safe and get it for XBox?

IF it can run the game, the issue is going to be your intel integrated graphics card. It'll make do at best, maybe low or medium settings.

You can probably play Skyrim on low-medium settings, but it might be better just to get it for 360 so you can get a better visual experience.
