Guaranteed copy, right?

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 3:01 pm

I have to work on Friday, so I am thinking about skipping the midnight release at Gamestop so I can get some sleep. If I do that, I'll just pick up my preorder after work. That'll be around 5:30 PM.

I've never preordered a game before. Will they run out of copies, or are you guaranteed a copy if you preorder?

If you preordered Gamestop will normally hold a copy in reserve for you for 48 hours.

as far as I know yes. I think if you preorder they hold your copy for a minimum of 48 hours.

For your peace of mind, why don't you just give them a ring and ask... ?

They are closed right now, but I may do that during the day tomorrow.

I'm not getting Skyrim until the morning after the midnight release. I'd rather get some sleep and have a full days worth of gaming. I have Thursday through Sunday off payed vacation but my direct deposit doesn't go through until around 3 am and I had other purchases(like rent) so I just have 5 bucks on Skyrim. Did the same thing for Battlefield 3. They'll let you get it the next day man, you'll be good.
