I'll probably follow the main quest until I figure out how I want to level up my character. After that, I'll just start doing side quests.

Well my first play-through I will be either an evil, or self serving, sort of neutral, but with evil tendencies Dark Elf ranger (stealth,bow,dual blades,lockpick,that sort of thing). I'll be doing a lot of adventuring, grinding gold, doing the Dark Brotherhood quests, thieves guild, that sort of thing.

Later I'll make a complete hero character and I'll do the main quest with him. :frog:

This will be my first Elder Scrolls game and the land of Skyrim just seems so big I'll probably roam the land and explore for a while.

Like everyone else, spend plenty of time in character gen, crafting the perfect avatar.

After that, I plan on heading anywhere but Riverwood, seen quite enough of that by now. Maybe climb up a mountain, and just soak in the view for awhile.

I have no idea . . . And therein lies the beauty.

It is hard to plan things when so many random encounters come to knock you into a different directions all the time, and I can't wait.

Once I get past the opening tutorial, I plan on hitting up Riverwood for some supplies. Then I'm starting a journey making my way clockwise around the map, heading towards Riften first. Once I get back to the start, I'll make my way through the center area. I just want to see everywhere in Skyrim, before I start my dungeon hopping. ^_^

But, knowing me, I'll get sidetracked and go off on my own little adventures.

I'll probably go back to Helgen and see what's left of it. Then, I'll hit up Riverwood, stay there in the tavern for a few days while exploring the surrounding area and taking up a couple of side quests and leveling up a bit before I head to Whiterun for the 1st portion of the MQ.
