Gamespot Live Skyrim Marathon : V

I haven't seen it posted here, and I don't know if it's because I'm not allowed to post it, but I will anyway.

Gamespot will be doing a live Skyrim marathon tomorrow morning starting at 8AM EST/5AM PST. I guess they will be playing the game for a while, allowing those interested to watch.

I wasn't planning on watching it, just letting everyone know just in case someone is interested. I know what you mean about Gamespot's terrible commentary, I remember that video they got their hands on last month, and completely svcked at commentating it. "Elk tree person." :facepalm:

I'll watch the character creation just in case they get more in depth than the other 2-3 vids i've seen of it.

I think the commentators you're referring to are from G4tv.com, not GameSpot.

Nope hes referring to gamespot. They took the video down...Honestly it was sooo bad I cancelled my subscription after 5 years. Just felt like they weren't gamers reviewing this. And the same 1 dude does every rpg/action rpg video review everytime.

Just got tired and lame.

I hate how bad he is at Skyrim... but his wack commentary makes up for some of it.

Yeah, they got flamed pretty bad especially on this forum, the people playing were absolutely clueless about TES. I'm pretty sure the video was only up for only a few hours before being removed.

He just does a lot of Let's Plays for the website his videos are on. Or I think that's all he does.

Yeah that's the one, they also said the ice shout that freezes enemies was an ice arrow. "You can freeze bunnies with your ice arrows like Link!"

IGN will livestream about four hours of play tomorrow, too. I won't watch either of them, the game is close enough now that I'm trying to avoid any new info.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably check both Gamespot's and IGN's live streams, at least for a couple of minutes each.
