Yeah not allowed to post about it eitherway... even steam forums locks vpn topics usually.
And not really smart to spread it, that's asking for the connection to be under heavier stress...

People remember you are trying this at your own risk. As others have said I don't think Steam has rules about unlocking throuh a VPN, however if they do and they ban your account it's your own fault.

I have used this method to unlock games in the past and have even emailed steam support asking them about it, You can not buy through a VPN but you may unlock through one
