I just bought skyrim, like I expected did I get a steam message that it can't instal the game because it isn't released yet. But shall I be able to play skyrim tomorrow(european release date because 11/11 is holiday here) or do I need to wait till friday?

I think they said something about everybody being able to play at the same time..(obviously didn't work out since some have already been sold. ) But I think that means you have to wait until it's 11/11/11 everywhere. I thought steam had a countdown timer or something.. does it no longer have this? I remember someone complaining that they would have to wait until 12/11/11

Steam says 1 day and 13 hours left for me. Steam unlocked The Witcher 2 early because of the GoG release. Maybe we can see an early release (like a couple hours early) for Skyrim, too.

On midnight 11/11/11 you will be able to play Skyrim. That's how Steam does with every other game.

Im GMT+1 and it says it will unlock in 1 day and 13 hours, which is 1.00 am Friday.

Steam is unlocking it here (Belgium) the 11th between 1 and 2 am.

I'm in GMT+10, it says 1 day and 2 hours, (midnight Friday here), so it looks like it does unlock when it reaches 11/11/11 in your own timezone, so no having to wait for continents in later timezones.

Steam will be friday indeed.

But i think most have to wait for 11th anyways, however sales started yesterday in the netherlands (for consoles and pc). maybe some other country's did the same...

Just noticed this on steam: This game will unlock in approximately 13 hours, so between 1:00 and 2:00 CET this night

It svcks though We have to wait till 1 AM, while most country's will at 12 AM :/...

you can play on 10.11. just use a proxy to US or Australia.
