United Kingdom, and Steam : V

Anyone from the UK noticed this?

On the store page, no sign of a countdown timer, or anything.

Yet, in our libraries, only the preload option remains?

Yes. I know it isn't due to unlock until after midnight.

Its just strange that its changed.

same for me, i think steam got a bit confused with the multiple release times. all we can do is wait, im sure it will be fine

Countdown timers on Steam are rarely precise. They often remove them on the last day or last few hours.

Yeah, thanks for the replies guys.

I deleted my pre-load in hope that it would allow me to install the real game.

Wishful thinking? Haha.

Reinstalling it now though.

If I am being completely honest.

I am disappointed with Steam, especially the way they handled Skyrim.

It took them from two weeks before release to included a timer, and it took them until today, to update the specs (I think?)

When I noticed the countdown was gone, I loaded the steam client, and got all giddy when it started downloading a small update. I was hoping that it was the unlock patch or something... It wasn't.

14 or so hours to go.

2 o clock, plus 10 hours = midnight, does it not?

I thought Pete Hines said it would be 12am in each region? Assuming that means CET in Europe, we in the UK should get it at 11pm tonight, surely?

Yeah.

I remember that aswell.

I also remember steam used to say the game would unlock at 9am for us in the uk, it was then changed to 1am.

I just assumed, that was it fixed.
