I have heard of a lot of issues that occur after install and I am wondering what you guys and girls think about the topic? Do you think that I should play from the disc or should I install the game? I do not have the game yet I am just wondering. Thanks!

Playing from disc myself on Xbox 360 and am surpised but the speedy loading times when entering and exiting from the world map, haven't run into any major bugs (crabs that pass though solid surfaces and a texture pop in I did notice although that's supposed worse atm when installed.)

It takes like 2 seconds from disc to get on the world map from a house, far better then deus ex's 30s + when installed if thats what concerns you more.

Seems I breezed through the OP and misunderstood the question.

I would recommend playing from the disc for now. (Just from the things i've been reading) Then, later tonight closer to midnight i'm sure a patch will be released that will fix the texture issue. Once you download that patch, I would go ahead and install so your XBox runs quieter.

Been wondering this too. Been hearing that installing it is going to mess witht the texture rendering.

Jugging by screen i saw, xbox version with hdd install looks worse than daggerfall. So nope, don't install.

I'll be installing to the HDD tonight when I get my copy.

I always install the games that I know will ruin my social life but because of reports I have been hearing I am going to hold off installing it until I know the texture issues have been resolved with a patch.
