Yeah, I went in to work yesterday, went to pull someone's MW3 out of the preorder drawer, and BAM! Drawer full of skyrim. I was thinking of taking one, and then fleeing to Mexico. I didn't go through with it... Lol

Block Buster workers are not happy campers. Their company is going down hill, job security is tenuous at best, how do you think you would feel if some ungrateful "customer" comes in and demands to know if you can get your pre order earlier than the release date?

I saw one the other day while driving around looking for a place to eat. It had people in it, too! I was astounded.

I worked in retail for two decades and dearly wanted to give many customers the beating they deserved but the professional and acceptable option was to be polite even if you couldn't help them. That being said , the peopel at our local Blockbuster and always friendly, helpful and polite. They actually do a booming business in our area, always customers in there.

Every person has a breaking point. Some just cannot keep it inside or express it in a way that satisfies them. The aftershocks of the global economic meltdown and the advancement of technology and machinations of the work place all add up to.... The Red Box (trolololol)

edit:

but seriously, kudos for the manageress.
