Are you xbox users enjoying the game?

i have seen so much negativity to the textures, i now feel like im not even excited.

is it too bad to play, or is it still better looking then oblivion and a major improvement?

The Texture issue is not widespread. Some people have reported nothing, some say they have it. So bugger knows.

All you have to do is hop over to Metacritic and see the Universal Acclaim the game is getting on 360. It's currently in the top 5 all time Xbox games.

The textures only decrease when you install it to your HDD. And I've seen the difference. Only appears to be on your weapon/shield from what I could tel, maybe the odd rock. Then again, I really don't care.

I think if you're basing your enjoyment of the game on how good the textures are then there is something wrong. I've heard nothing but good things to do with the gameplay, sound, music and the rest of the graphics etc.

It depends on how much attention you pay to the graphics, and in some cases the textures are worse than in other cases. I have enjoyed it a lot and from a distance everything looks great, but I have had Morrowind-quality textures on a lot of objects, especially indoors. It has not broken the game for me but I can imagine that it can be immersion-breaking for a lot of people. I'll keep playing and enjoying it but I hope that Bethesda will fix it soon.

If you're not getting it, you're not going to play it at all, which seems infinitely worse than playing it with a blurry sword texture...

I'm loving it to death, amazing game. No texture problems at all, but then i haven't installed it.

The problem can be big though, just watch Gametrailers videoreview and other gameplay videos of Skyrim on 360, horrible low res textures there. Glad i dont have that [censored].

So when I get it tonight at midnight or tomorrow should I install it or play from the disk? And has anyone who installed it not had a issue?
