My first impression of the game are overall very good but i find the menu and the 3d map completely awkward.
Even if they look amazing the don't help much for fast choices.
I don't like that your character don't show at menu in 3d.
Using items and spells is a mess imo.
Does anyone else find this annoying?
On the other hand the graphics on pc the animations the music and the world immersion are amazing, I'm stunning.

On topic, I haven't played, but have been watching the Gamespot live stream and I don't like the map as much. It's very generic looking to me. It's essentially a bunch of icons with more of a background image than an underlying map. Couldn't see the icons connected by roads or anything and it's all very grey scale looking . Like I said, I haven't played it yet so maybe you can zoom in more?

You're awkward. This is by far the best game overall I've ever played. The menu system is also great, imho.

Can you elaborate on the spells issue? Is it not like oblivion where you can hit 1-9 on your keyboard to pull up that spell? Is it the dual spell wielding that makes it awkard?

No i can't see how that happens to put fast spells in 1-9. On the other hand you can make a spell "favorite" and by pressing the c button a quick menu comes up.
