PC Screenshots (final)

My only complaint are that there appears to be an outline around the rock structures and they seem to "stick out" rather than "blend in" to the surroundings.

No big deal though.

See the rocks in the back off to the right? With the Jaggies along the ground? That's what I'm talking about. Rock/Boulders don't seem to blend into the ground very well. And they seem a little too shiny to me.

Just a little nitpick. Nothing major.

Eh, screen shots are always nice but they never look as good as when you are actually playing the game. I think it's because you lose the 3D effect after taking a screen shot. I'm sure it will look awesome playing.

Right half of the 4th screenshot looks like a photograph .

agreed, although i got to say, im note noticing a huge different between these and console screenshots... im a bad judge of screen shots i have no doubt that when i boot up the game no matter whats settings i put it on its going to look better than console

I would like Fuzz to chime in, but from the videos I've seen of the PC version, some of the quality is being lost in a simple, static screenshot. Tree leaves seem to look sharper dynamically in the videos as opposed to a maxed out screenshot. Like I've said previously, I've taken screenshots in several other games and they don't usually do the actual game complete justice.

If you're having a difficult time telling the difference, I would suggest checking out some of the side-by-side comparisons that will be popping up over the next few weeks.
Yeah...assuming one actually loads a very high quality vid onto YT (it is possible to do...), it's going to look better in motion, imo.
Still, I think the screens are nice. The detail in some of the little things (like a piece of meat on a butcher block) is great. Some of the static wall/floor textures are more of the standard "blurred up close" type but nothing out of the ordinary + most of the time one is moving around and wont notice too much.

The actual stones of the roads look pretty nice in the screens, imo.

First - Nice shots, thanks for posting them.

But - Where is everybody? The screenshots of towns/cities/villages seem rather sparsely populated. Just bad timing with the AI schedules or is that the rule?

More likely he got the illegal version wich millions of people have downloaded already, while we honest paying customers are still waiting 8 hours, i could always cancel my preorder, but i rather support bethesda than being a cheap skate.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 3 GOTY, Fallout 3 New Vegas.

I have all of the games included with all the dlc on steam and are some of the best games i have played, piracy is stealing no matter how you twist it.

Er.... I live in Australia. THis game has been unlocked for 6 and a half hours.

An apology will not be necessary. But In future, it's a good idea to not make such absurd assumptions. Cheers.

Those are beautiful. Seriously.

And I just noticed (someone else might have mentioned this already) lights in the windows at night time. Heck yes! Good job on the small details, Bethesda!
