I am a responsible citizen and student so I will not take advantage of any boss or teacher's kindness by making excuses, and having to cause them undue stress in calling in a back-up or unduly increasing their workload.

I'm given the day off for Veterans Day, and I'm paid for it. So I will be paid to play Skyrim on Friday.
