When exploration goes wrong.... : V

Thought i would go for another little bit of exploration after completing a few side quests, it started off nicely. Found a few elk, chased them for a while, found a mammoth, accidentally electrocuted it. No biggie i thought, i'll just run away. The Mammoth had other idea's though, it chased me for a grand total of 30mins (give or take) before it finally left me alone, but not before it inexplicably ran up mountains and through marshes. My low level really hindered me in terms of stamina so running away was nigh on impossible.

Almost immediately after the mammoth finally gave up i ran into a group of mudcrabs who were surprisingly strong, and numerous. I only just survived. After all that i thought i needed some easy prey so i found a goat and chased it around for a while, just as i was away to move in for the kill i bumped straight into a frost troll.

One hit later i was dead. And thus ended my exploration as my high elf corpse lay on the snowy ground being trampled by an irate frost troll

Totally, only ES can make being chased for half an hour and dying in one hit fun!

Read your thread earlier about the problems you had with the startup Bradalee, I'm also an Xbox 360 user, from the sounds of it the problem is resolved? Am I right?

Glad to see you've managed to get stuck into it anyway! Even if it was just to get chased by a mammoth, bullied by crabs and one-hitted by a troll.

come on you should have just battled the mammoth! poke it with your starter sword for 20 mins til it falls over :foodndrink:

Ah yeah man, took forever to work. No idea why it kept refusing to load past the character creation screen but it finally worked!

Amazing game though, so happy with it now.

Yeah i tried that, gave it a few fireblasts and some frost attacks along with a few swipes from my sword, but it didn't take much health off. And each one of the Mammoths charge attacks nearly killed me the only option i had was to run!

Oh dear, I was hoping they'd finally done away with the deranged and suicidal wildlife chase-you-to-the-end-of-the-world kind of thing. I guess not.

Maybe they have, but my stamina was so low as i was at a low level that i could never get more than 10feet ahead of it so i was permanently in it's line of sight

Um, he kinda describes them not being suicidal. Only the mammoth chased him, and that was for attacking it.
