My brother who was nice enough to buy the game in full about 2 months ago got a text saying he has to be at Gamestop at 10:00 pm to finalize the payment, anyone else get this?

Yes I got a text for it and an email. Thats just for the people who are going to the midnight release, if your bro is going to or planning on going to the midnight release then he can finalize the payment at 10 and hangout til midnight. But all the pre orders have a 48 hour hold for the people who cant get there right off the bat

10pm is the start of the launch party IIRC.

From 9 to 11:30 you can make your payment and get a finalized receipt so at the midnight release you can enter the express line.

No you don't have to be there at 10

be there before 11:30. most Gamestops will lock up at 11:30 to get everything set up and ready to hand you your game at 12

They aren't going to not sell you the game if you get there at midnight. They just say that to make their life's easier and get people out of there as fast as possible.
