PS3 so you can sit back and relax on a comfortable couch with your friends while you play it.

Flip a coin instead of asking here. It will take less time and statistically produce the same results.

I would go with PS3 just because with those specs it would probably be higher quality on PS3, plus you can sit back and play while you sit on the couch

Well if you want mod's then pc is only option. Laptops are hardly ideal for pc gaming though. But i guess there are plenty of people that get by on them. From a hardware point of view ps3 is probably better bet at least when it comes to stability. But yeah mods are a big deal for me, but then i have a gaming desktop.

i heard that they wanted to put mods out for the consoles which would be awesome but they didnt know how to make them secure and wont destroy your game if you dl them so. they will be out after release if they do go out for consoles

Go look on the bugs subforum for pc.
I suggest you choose PS3
I wish it wasn't too late for me to change. :(

Some of those textures.... they were hideous.

I'd recommend the console based on if you have a good TV have invested into console have a decent size library
But if you have the PC rig are into mods and like or can deal with mouse & keyboard then PC

P.S. Me personally going with 360 i.e. full install play via HDD

That's the reason I chose PC, even though I don't own a console anymore.

PC has better graphics and mods, and the portability of a laptop is a plus. I say the PC version.

You realize that this is the Skyrim forum, not the GoldenEye forum right?

Probably a bit low specs..?

I'd still go with PC, though.
It's seriously worth it. Upgrade your pc a bit, and go for it! :)
I'm going ps3, though. My old job based alot around mac, so I have mac. If I had a decent windows machine though, I'd go for PC.
