Skyrim Projects

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 9:23 am

This house is overflowing with Skyrim hype. It's hard to contain it when three people are bubbling over, and time seems to stand still. So, how do you pass the time? Art projects, of course!

I decided a bit late on what I wanted to do, and my ambitions are certainly high so I doubt I'll have much time for anything else. However, I'd love to share with the forum my project, and see what anyone else is possibly doing to tide themselves over.

This is the rough framework so far of the "Dovahkiin" Iron Helmet. I intend to use papier mache over the base, sand it, detail it, prime it, and paint it. I'll update with progress as I go along.

New progress has been archived. It's not long before Skyrim and this helmet are complete!

It looks cool.

I'd like to see it after it's painted.

Netflix is losing many MST3K episodes on the 12th.

So yeah, MST3K marathon.

The painting is going to be the most stressful but simple process.

Can never go wrong with MST3K. I'm still debating about naming a character Big McLargehuge after the "Meet the Devs" thread.

Almost done. Just needs the last details and layer of paint and it'll be ready for midnight release!

The Helmet is finished! A few hours prior to Skyrim's release (at least for me).
