So is every house a safe house? Such as in Fallout 3 and NV i was scared that i would lose all my crap if i stored it in a cool house i found...Like displaying rare items is a BIG thing i do...So whats the instances with skyrim? surely to goodness they've rigged some sort of solution up by now. Oh and i would love to see a satchel or backpack j/s. And please could i ask if someone would test this theory?

It would be best if you stored your collected items in a house that you actually own , as i hear storing things in random barrels can lead to NPC's taking them , Dragon corpses also seem to be a viable option for storing your loot.
