Thread of Minor Criticism

I've only been playing for a few hours and i've got to say congrats to Bethesda, it was definitely worth the wait. I don't know how updates work especially for consoles but i have a few suggestions and hopefully a few people might agree or add their own and someone from Bethesda might see this.

Conversations - I think everyone can agree it's better talking to someone without the face zoom but there needs to be a rule where only one person can talk at a time i've felt like i've missed something important several times because two or more people have talked at the same time.

Saves - You should not be able to save while you are dieing, this only happened to me once but it was pretty annoying, every time i died the game loaded and i got knocked on the floor and died again there was nothing i could do but go back to an earlier save, i lost a fair bit of time. I don't know how other people play but i save quite often especially when i'm in a fight and i think i might die. The save menu on the consoles is also a bit awkward, on the xbox you have to press start right trigger twice then A twice, i'm missing that quicksave.

Horse icon on map - Um where's my horse ran off too i just spent 1000 on him!?!? (i do like the fact he likes a scrap though Skyrim horses are well 'ard)

Finally i don't think this could be included in an update but maybe put into future DLC; Repairing - i can see why some people would find it annoying but i miss it so maybe like in Fallout NV we could have an optional survival mode with repair tools and a water pouch and you have to fix your armour and weapons and eat cooked food and collect and drink water from rivers?

Anyway i'll stop nit-picking now the games great i love the new interface, magic, combat and DRAGONS!

Cheers

I don't have the game yet, but will in a few hours. A few of the reviews I've read have complained about the dialogue overlapping. I imagine it would be a really nice feature if the non-essential voices were lower. I saw some footage of it where the char was talking to a barkeep and the NPC's around him started drowning out the barkeeps dialogue.

I don't think I would want them to get rid of the pvssyr completely, just lower the volume of other NPC's when talking to one.

Yeah the person you are talking to you should just be louder than everyone else that would solve it. It's not just pvssyr, if you're stood next to a horse or something else noisey it's pretty annoying too.
