TY Bethesda for the great camera and FOV adjust

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 1:17 am

Hey Devs,

Just a quick note to you devs. In so many games you have no way to adjust the camera to be further back from your character. In addition in so many games you have no way to adjust the FOV. In Skyrim I have both. Its just so refreshing that you guys understand that this stuff is so useful. Its so nice to be able to adjust this stuff.

Thank you very much, :celebration:

The console commands in TES is divine. I thank Bethesda after seeing the horrible locked FOV in MW3.

Yes.

For my res, which is 1920x1200 - 75 seems fine.

70 I think is default.

Wheres the FOV adjust???

hit ~ and type fov 90

or whatever works for you :) .... I'm using 85. If you type just fov .... it resets to default.

thanks a bunch. yeah 70 reminds me of what the default was. and yeah 75 seems like the sweet spot. Any more than that and you get the fishbowl effect.

yes i give them credit for finally doing it right.. kind svcks you have to type it in console rather than saving in config (haven't figured out a way yet) but at least the option is there..

i was afraid this game could of ended up like Rage (zero customization on video, 60hz/fps cap, etc)..

the graphics are a little "watery" but i won't fuss too much.. just wish they support PC more by releasing better texture pack.
