A very sad day...

After reading all the QQ posts about Skyrim, I decide to write a story...

I hope you enjoy it

7:30am, English Time. 30 Minutes before I can go home for what seems to be the longest night shift in history. 11 hours of humming the Skyrim theme tune in my head, and planning my game. Each hour feels like an eternity. I have finished all my workload by 7:30 and decide to go into the toilet for the last 30 minutes and read up on the forums / play angry birds.

I buy some doughnuts and the new Vanilla Frijj milkshake and head home at 7:55. So what if I get in trouble for leaving 5 minutes early?

After a 20 minute walk home without seeing the postman, I start to think... "Is it possible that it won't come today??". "No, no, Amazon said guaranteed delivery. I quickly erased the thought from my mind and to get in the shower.

Hours pass by and then suddenly....I hear something drop from my letterbox onto my wooden floor. I jump out of bed, and rush to the corridor...What I see next, is beyond words...

None of the items that were delivered resemble a Xbox game box. My heart sinks and my temper rages.

I just heard the letter box go and nearly broke my neck running down stairs in excitement!.. It was a Betterware book. :stare:

Gutted that is though. Have you tried ringing a hub closest to you? Its possible if you live close to one, you could maybe pick it up if it's there?

You should get Prime if you use Amazon a lot. Its better than release day delivery :)

Got mine day early from GAME with Royal Mail.

I know exactly how you feel! Same here. 2 days from dispatch and no Xbox version of Skyrim from Amazon/ Royal Fail.
Ended up getting it on Steam and boy was it worth it.
