Will i gimp myself if i play a nord as a rogue type?

It says they are more warriors, but i just like they way they look and was thinking about going rogue type, stealth, bow, daggers etc.

Would that be to gimp by not picking one of the more dextrous classes?

Haven't played the game, but I'm gonna have to say no. It'll just be slightly harder in the beginning, but in the long run, it doesn't affect you.

I don't think so. There are no major powers that make the traditional "stealth races" superior. Skill bonuses are temporary.

Sounds fine, you can be whoever you wish. Of course with a character like that you're going to have to come up with some great backstory! :D

Nope. When I first got Oblivion, I had no idea what I was doing. I picked an Imperial because I thought they looked nice, then for a class I picked something with a name simular to "Assassin", a sneaky archer character. Then for a birthsign I think I picked something random like The Mage. Even with this extremely dumb set-up I never felt gimped at all. Considering that Oblivion was all about classes and specialization, and Skyrim is more lenient on the initial character set-up, Skyrim is probably even more friendly to make a wacky character with.
