Did they really cut this!?

It's a really good game, but we can apparently only pickup and dangle in front of us items that can be added to the inventory. So all of those skulls and bones that you see lying around, and CAN kick around, can not be held in front of you or picked up period. Sure this seems minor, but it adds to the immersion to be able to do things like this. Why cut it? Oblivion let you pick up every item besides larger ones. How many of us picked up the skull and bones in the opening scene of Oblivion. Or played with the dangling chains, etc. Makes no sense.

It seems from my experience so far that they have simplified the game alot compared to oblivion, not sure this is the best aproach but we can't do much about it but accept it.

I remember a mod that let you pick up EVERYTHING -even furniture. Of course, this led to some pretty crazy bugs, but surely some modder can enable us to pick up all little things.
