The texture moving 45 degrees to the direction of flow and clipping through a sand bar, you mean?

I liked the mud crab about to take your lunch money though.

I know this sounds ridiculous, given the like 5 year time gap, but it really does amaze me how different/better it looks compared to Oblivion.

It looks nice, but as was noted, the water flow is running at 45 deg to where it should be going. No biggy though.

yeah idk whats wrong with people complaining about graphics.

im starting to think they are people hired by other company's that are send out to bash on new released games with the hope they will buy crap like modern warfare instead lol

Don't be too hard on people complaining about the textures being ugly. If they had a well modded Oblivion with the best textures, well, nothing anyone is going to release will be as good (because most people would not be able to run it). Now if you wait for Skyrim to get modded with new textures and compare to what you see now, you may just say the same :)

It's OK.

I keep looking at this video and wonder why Bethesda won't committ to a PC's full DX11 potential...

Sun rays and glare, swaying trees, translucent water, 100% realtime shadows, Tesselation on the rocks, etc...

The Consoles are holding Elder Scrolls back.

The people who say it looks bad are the ones who stand in a room and stare at a texture on a broom for half an hour, anolysing each pixel. Why they can't just look normally at the screen and admire the view as a whole I don't know.

Totally agree. I think we've become sooo spoiled as gamers. What an amazing time this is to play games, it's only going to get better.

I'm 35, so I know the long journey it took to get here. Enjoy it everyone.
