Hey everyone,

I just got my Skrym CE, and I seem to have a little problem. The beautiful dragon statue doesn't fit on the (less beautiful) base it came with. I'm looking at the little diagram they included, but there's no way I can get the claws to match the positions indicated on the picture. At least, not without fear of breaking the wings or something like that. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Same problem here and with everyone else. The basic gist of it is that the dragon and the base simply were not created to fit properly. For no one. I tried for about and hour to figure out how to make it fit like in the picture but gave up not wanting to damage the statue and since it's basically impossible to have it fit. Either the dragon has to stand on its heels with the claws sticking out so that the wings can fit properly with the base, or the wings have to be positioned away from the base in a way that makes the dragon have a hard time balancing.

I just let its claws stick out.

Have this issue as well. I'm thinking i'm going to make another base out of Plaster of Paris. You know one that he will stand on with out falling off or resting all the weight on the wings.

Seeing as you can take the base plate off the base I'll use it as a mold.

Start with the ...thumbs and gently rock it back and forth and it should sit comfortably on the stand. MIne's claws aren't actually in contact with the stand, but I'm not sure if that's so one part won't scratch another or 'cause each set is different. Looks close enough to the funny diagram.

Thanks for the replies, I guess I'll just fit it best as I can. The rock on the diagram does look slightly different from the real deal. More detailed, too..
