I just wonder why u can't have a shield in your right arm and an axe in the left, it would just make it quicker and easier, so i don't have to think about what button i am assining it too.

And btw, can u still bind weapons to number keys, I've only used the favorites so far.

Yes. Hover your mouse over a quick menu item and press the hotkey. I have like 8 weapon/spell sets setup right now.

If you assign a weapon to your left hand and then add a shield, it goes to your right hand does it not?

Nope it replaces the sword (or axe).
