I don't get why anybody would see this game as disappointing

I don't understand why people are complaining about this game been a disappointment and the graphics not been very good?
Everybody is entitled too there opinion and I get that, but I just don't understand.

I understand people getting angered by bugs, but most RPG games if not all are released with a substantial amount of bugs, I cant count the amount of times I've just stopped what I was doing and looked at the mountains in complete awe at how amazing they look, the level of detail in this game is amazing, the objects, the books, everything is so detailed, and the combat/quests are a great improvement from oblivion, no more repetitive oblivion gates.
And all I can say about the dragons is wow.

I got this on PS3 and am loving it, but I would be a little upset if I were a PC player (from the issues I have read). They (well many of them anyway) aren't able to enjoy the game right now like the console players, and that has to be frustrating.

I'm on the PC. I had some FPS issues which are now solved (through weird and wonderful ways, but I'm just so, so glad they are solved). I play with the Xbox 360 controller on high graphics, with steady, solid FPS and I am absolutely loving it. This is, without a doubt, the best game I have ever, ever played in my whole life.

the creation kit is still such an immensely powerful trade-off that having to wait for a patch to solve minor issues, or for a talented modder to change something you don't like, is hardly something worth complaining about.
but then again people will complain of just about anything.
the better something is, the more its flaws, no matter how minor, will pop out. it is still worthwhile keeping things in perspective

I agree the game so far (on PC here) is incredible. The only problem with the PC version is the interface, which also won't be fixed with a patch most likely. But it's easy to get used to and I really don't think it's as bad as some people make it out to be. It's also more stable than Morrowind, Oblivion or Fallout 3 have ever been. I've clocked over 10 hours now without any crash and only 2 minor glitches, of which only one was serious. And I'm playing on a system that barely meets system requirements on High settings!

I'm actually really enjoying it on PC. I can see where people are coming from with regards to the console-style menu but I've gotten used to it and it's not such a big letdown. I do wish however that we could use the number keys to select weapons but it isn't ruining the experience.

I'm also very surprised I could run it on High and in 1920x1080 on an old quad core with 3.2 (32bit OS) gig of ram with little to no choppy gameplay.

I have to be honest, I was initially disappointed... the textures just don't match with what I was expecting, and I struggled massively with the controls (I'm mostly a PC gamer, but got the PS3 version - the controller takes some getting used to!). However, once I sort of got the hang of the controls, and focused on the "big picture" from a graphics perspective... it's been pretty amazing! Very immersive world, with sooo much potential for exploring different styles of playing etc. etc. I'm hooked! Cannot wait for my wife to let me have access to the TV again

I'm glad you are enjoying it and good to hear your honest opinion :) I still don't see the issue with textures though? I have yet to see a texture and think wow..that's horrible
