I"m guessing there's no way of seeing yourself in the inventory/item screens anymore? Damn that svcks man. I always liked to see how my equipped items looked. Also, i won't be able to tell if I have contracted any diseases such as Porphyira if I can't see myself at all. Comon Bethesda, why did you not include this in Skyrim? If there's a patch, i really hope it includes this option (i'm not holding my breath but fingers crossed).

Dude. Change the camera view and then move the camera

With the transparent menus, you can move the view around and point it at yourself in third person to see changes to your equipment that way, since it updates the character model while changing things in the inventory.
