I notice from some gameplay videos that different city stables have different colored horses. I haven't got the game yet, and this probably sounds stupid, but I want to get a horse other than the black/brown one from Whiterun. Anyone who has been to other stables care to share the types of horses available?

I only got to play about 4 hours this morning and had to head to work. I'd like to know the colors as well but also does anyone know all the pricing for horses?

I heard it may be 1000 for a "basic mount" or are they all the same speed/health amounts? Do you pay premium for a different colored one?

There is also a palomino horse they are like a sandy color

All I know is the one I bought from Solitude fought a dragon and lived so I'm guessing he's pretty hardy.

Do you know where to buy them?

Ooh but I'm not planning on visiting Solitude anytime soon. Sounds badass though.

No one knows the prices that they bought a horse for lol?

There is a stable in Whiterun... Horses cost 1000 GP a piece. I think there's one black horse there for sale but I too want to know if there are other colors and more importantly different qualities like they were in Oblivion.

Of the three stables I've visited so far, they all sold horses for 1000 gold each. I haven't found any more expensive ones.
