Picking up stuff

I liked how in Skyrim I could make my house look awesome and had fun messing with it, same with pulling the occasional dead body along with me...

So far, from what I've seen my brother do, and the manual you can't do this.... why, why!!!! WHYYY!!!!, :brokencomputer: If you can, please tell me how.
