Amazon sent me two copies of Skyrim for the price of one.

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 2:49 pm

I upgraded to the Collector's Edition from the regular edition and I just got the Collector's Edition AS WELL AS the regular edition. I checked my Amazon orders and I only paid for the CE. I considered keeping the extra copy, but the idea makes me feel like criminal scum.

Who do I contact about returning an item that I wasn't supposed to receive?

EDIT: I'll check back here later. I haven't played Skyrim yet, and I can't wait any longer.

Give it to me. I am a police officer and deal with "misplaced" items all the time.

Amazon makes it very difficult to find their customer service email address, but it's on their website.. just put in your order number and tell them you received 2 products. They'll cover the shipping back.

It's their mistake, don't tell them. Give it to a friend, or flog it on eBay. The bastards deserve it after the way they messed up release day shipping.

I know it's wrong to keep it, but a good friend of mine wasn't able to buy Skyrim because his mother confiscated all of his money because she thought he was smoking marijuana. He was not smoking anything. He's a good person, and it's not his fault his mom is paranoid and only trusts his sisters.

I'll probably give the spare to him once I confirmed there's only a charge for one copy on my credit card.

i c wat u did der

I'd indeed give it to your friend. I don't know how you'd go about returning it, and it's best if someone deserving or at least someone who desires it receives the extra copy.

That's not what I meant, but it sounded like that's what I implied. His mom thinks he is a druggy and a failure, and these views of hers are completely unfounded.

There you go, just check your charges, and then make your friend's day. If Amazon can't get it right, then that's their problem, perhaps it will teach them to raise their game in the future.

O.o It does sound like what you implied. >:\

On topic again:

I think you should give it to your friend.
