My first Skyrim session

I'm absolutely loving this, I'm taking it all in and soaking up every inch of this incredible world Bethesda have created. I've spent my first three day's (in-game) solely in and around the area of Riverwood. I've been traveling up and down the river to the east of the village hunting Elk and catching salmon while taking on the occasional bandit/wolves etc..

I'm leveling up at a snails pace but I'm loving every minute of it, getting used to hot-keying items, managing my inventory and using spells among other things, spent most of my time smithing with Alvor and cooking salmon in his house. Spend my evenings listening to Sven's tunes in the Sleeping Giant Inn. The musical score by Jeremy Soule is truly stunning and the world feels so alive, loving seeing so many people working on mills etc it really adds a whole new level of immersion imo.

If I do have a gripe then it would be some of the graphics, I thought some of those dungeon areas in the beginning were pretty low res, also the trees appear very cartoon like, at least on my PS3. Certainly not as high res as we were led to believe from those three XBOX 360 gameplay vids released by Bethesda.

10/10 so far, will have to venture out a bit further at some point. This game is going to ruin my social life. Even more so than Oblivion.
