Exist a realistic mode in Skyrim?

realistic mode: eating, drinking, sleeping and 'realistic' combat in order to create a better immersive experience

I think he means something like FO:NV's "hardcoe" mode.

Which wasn't terribly realistic.

Yeah, personally I think eating, drinking, sleeping and 'realistic' combat are a major neccessity in a rpg. I dig why its not standard, but I can't fathom why it hasn't even been included as an option. FO:NV hardcoe mode was the only way to play that game.

Looking forward to a sensible mod down the line.

Bethesda do listen to us ??

do they include this realistic mode all people want ??

regards,

I do not want it. Hence "all" people don't want it.

Just a heads up there :D

I was pretty disapointed that limb damage and associated effects were not included. They worked so well in NV!

cut him some slack, I don't think english is his first language.

There is no hardcoe/realism option. Only chance of that is as a DLC. We'll have to wait and see.

What you mean? A mode where you have to eat/drink and sleep/stay-out-of-action?

It is called vampirism in these parts.

I liked it as well, but I know that the limb damage in NV was only possible because FO3's engine already supported limb shots as part of its targetting system.

I don't think we'll be seeing limb damage in the same way in the game, even modded or with SKSE. But I think that if a modder was clever enough, they could at least simulate things like bleeding and head wound effects, etc. Mmm. Thinking about it makes me excited for the mod tools. :)

Do not fret, Basic Primary Needs, will be ported to Skyrim. There is no doubt about that.

I don't like it at all, If i wanted to eat, sleep etc. I would do it in RL. The game is supposed to be fun and not a chore IMO.

yes you're right english isnt my first language, but all of you are correct, i was talking about the hardcoe mode or realistic mode in wich we need to eat, sleep, etc etc

mmm a little bit disappointed

mm it was just an option (you know you can turn it on/off) not because they include it you must to use it, it was just a good way of inmersion

Unfortunately such an option does not appear to be included in the vanilla game. But I have faith that there will be mods out there, given time - I am a huge fan of Necessities of Morrowind and Real Thirst/Hunger etc. (with COBL) for Oblivion and I am confident that modders will come up with something similar and equally good for Skyrim. It's not to everyones' taste, but if like me you enjoy roleplaying with a more survival feel, that sort of thing can add a lot to your experience :)

Each to their own. :cryvaultboy:

The main reason I like such mods is because they require you to interact with the environment more, as opposed to simply travelling through it. Also it makes combat hard, which is generally isn't on vanilla versions. Something which adds a great deal of replayability. I also like having a reason to rent rooms in inns etc. Finally, when you can loot everything you wear/use, instead of having to craft the best stuff, it feels thin. I found in NV for example, I had no use for the reloading benches, or alchemy whatsoever. Which robbed me of a huge chunk of the game play and a lot of replayability. Modding this was essential for me personally ..

THIS

you can even improve you role playing... now that bunny MUST to be chased and cooked in the bonfire at middle of the forest, in the night if you wanna survive, while you are scary of some creatures or bandits, there is no fast travel so this is a long way until i reach next town...

you know that was my skyrim gameplay fanatasy but they didn't include it :sadvaultboy:

now you just fast travel to the next town and skips all the fun

I'll probably be transferring http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37254 over from FO3/New Vegas. Depends on how much I like the game and the SDK (really hoping the new scripting language is more object oriented). Definitely not a mod everyone's going to like, but the people that do like it seem to really like it.

So no wounding?

Thats disappointing, i really liked that in FO, made it so much more immersive.

So if i shoot someone with 40 arrows, i can assume theyll keep running at me like nothing happened?

Nice, kinda figured it'd be standard if a game 4 years ago they made had it.
