12 hours in, running around the world just exploring, have done one quest!

Just arrived to Whiterun on my second character (pure mage). Gonna go fight this dragon and see how I do with the spells.

Running around with Lydia to kill random things. *-*

About 7 hours in, on my way to join the Stormcloakes and fight for my native land.

i'm just about to head to whiterun also (1st time for me as i have only got the game yesterday afternoon) i am looking forward to seeing a dragon i'll no doubt just be in awe of it as it flames me to death

Haven't discovered any other guilds yet, but I will in time. I'm having too much fun just exploring.
Only killed two dragons (the first one you slay in the MQ, and a random one right outside Riverwood), and unlocked three shouts:

Unrelenting Force (Fus and Roh)
Whirlwind Sprint (Wuld)
Become Ethereal (the first word)

I was wondering why everything was so easy though. I took down my first dragon in less than a minute... then realized difficulty was on Novice. Now I'm wokring through on Master.

Just killed my first random dragon! I guess I didn't seem that formidable because all it wanted to do was kill the frostbite spiders across the river. Wasn't until I got him down to half health that he focused on me.

About 10 hours in, done 2 main quests and 1 side quest. Mainly exploring, loving it!

9 hours in, playing battle mage (hv armour, sword and spells).

First thing I did as soon as I got past the intro was stumble on a butchered shrine, looted the worshippers and a single soldier, finding some nice destruction enhancing heavy armour.

Followed a little of the main quest (killed first dragon, then took a bit of a detour - as below - before going up the throat of the world)

Went and joined the mage's college, did their first major quest (and found my first bug), got a new shout, killed my 2nd dragon and unlocked it

Been wondering around trying to decide what to do next, then realised it was 4 am, I haven't eaten anything all day, and I really need sleep....

Just settled a deal with akiviri on giving up Sadirri or whatever the hell her name is. Walked out of the cave and encountered my second dragon. It was a frost dragon and With the help of Lydia and a wild wolf I took it down.

How long did the MQ take to finish?

Killed my first dragon, joined the thieves guild, which happen unintentionally as I am playing as a Dark Elf with almost no skill points in the stealth areas, and I'm currently planning on working on my stealth skills as a result.

Im about 7-8 hours in....done 2 mq, 2 companions quest.
Seriously though! This game is big, ive only visited 1 major city so far.

Feel like a right noob though :\ was playing on adept ( im a main melee warrior, with some archery ) and i constantly kept gettin owned by people with 2H's.....turned it down to apprentice but now it seems too easy.

15 hours in and mostly exploring. I just finished a quest clearing out wolfcave or something like that. I got in the solitude. Really cool quest.

killed like 5 dragons, got merked by a giant, ran away from some frost trolls, and pissed off a bear. O and almost fell in a mammoth trap!

4 hours in...

I've done the Golden Claw quest, found my first dragon shout, robbed a traveling vendor's camp while she was roaming the area, sold some goods to the vendor when I came across here, went back to Riverwood, listened to the Bard for a bit, conversed with folks, tried my hand at some alchemy, spent the night in the hotel, woke up and went outside.

Now I'm here.

I have played for about 20 hours and am at level 6.

So far I have:
Visited Riverwood and chopped wood for money
Successfully sneaked past a giant on the way to Whiterun
Visited Whiterun and spoke to lots of people
Collected about 30 quests but finished very few
I just decided to do some quests and so did the first couple of parts of the MQ
Used shock spells for ranged attacks and dual wield melee for close quarters fighting or sneak attacks
Tried out alchemy and smithing

My highest skill at the moment is sneak, so I've decided to concentrate on developing my character in a rogue direction with some destruction magic (because that's a lot of fun!)

Bought a house in White Run, joined the companions, freed the Grey-Mane brother and now off to prove my worth with Farkas of the Companions. I'm 19 hrs in and taking a break now. I started my character as a sneak, longsword/archer but she's completely gone battle mage.
