I perched my Skyrim CE dragon on the plastic platform it came with, but the back claws don't actually touch the platform. However, in the instructions picture, it shows the dragon's back claws touching the platform. So I am confused. Does the dragon snap into place or something?

No, it rests nimbly upon the word wall.

It doesn't snap it to place, Alduin just sits atop the wall. Mine does seem to have his feet touching the wall though, try moving it around a bit. If not maybe you got one from a bad batch?

On my dragon, the bottom of the feet barely touch the wall, but the claws don't touch the wall at all.

Fits perfectly for me
