anyone else going for the spell-sword type? : V

I've been playing with a spell in one hand and a mace or sword in the other and its been extremely fun and its working really well

Tried it but missed blocking

went down the 2h path....playing an orc so when i berserk rage the damage is ridiculous. 3-4 shot the second dragon i came to.

my plan was to go mage but ive gotten way too much fun out of using the bound swords. bound sword in 1 hand and a spell in the other is way too useful in dungeons

I was doing sword and spell (it's a lot better and a lot more fun than in Oblivion) earlier. Now I do bows for sneak shots, and dual-wielded Destruction for close-up work.

Yeah... I kinda gravitated towards spell-sword. Fire in one hand (sometimes frost) and a sword in the other.

Agree with topic poster. Magic-sword is such a fun combination. You can do some damage while at range, and then swing with your choice of weapon at close-quarters. They really go great together.

What kind of armor are you using? I plan on doing my next character like a battlemage, I planned on disenchanting the robes and making some heavy plate that has the same effects.

I'm thinking of it, because then you can take advantage of monsters that are weak to certain elementals.

But for now I am playing a pure thief.

I do like spellswords but you can't choose that as a class

Currently I'm sneaking with a bow and I 1-shot a bandit at level 2
