Question about appearance

This is a two in one question .

Firstly do the people react to what you wear like they did in Oblivion ( i think that they did in that game, )

And aslo, people keep saying that I look very tired or sick, why is that??

Probably contracted a disease from a wolf or rat.
Go to magic and look at your active effects.

No, people in Oblivion didn't react to what you wore. Yes, people in Skyrim do notice. A blacksmith sneered at my Nord character wearing Elven armor and told her something to the effect of she needed to lose that wimpy elven nonsense and wear real materials like leather or steel.

People say you look sick if you have a disease. Go to a temple and pray at the altar to get it removed. People say you look tired if you haven't had your character sleep in a long time. Be sure to sleep in a bed every couple of days for the Well-Rested bonus.
