I have literally played the game for 12 hours straight today, with only about a 15 minute break (which I subtracted from the 12 hours). I never thought it was possible for a free-roam RPG to have the best graphics I have ever seen (there are games like Uncharted which "wow" me, but there has never been a game where I have to urge myself to keep walking 'cause I just want to stand there and admire the graphics, like Skyrim does), the best soundtrack (....it is amazing...), the best gameplay/combat (I freaking love archery now!!!), one of the most engrossing stories ever, and the most content... ever. I had such high hopes, and Bethesda not only delivered... they exceeded my expectations. This game is frickin' amazing. Thank you Bethesda. You are the single greatest developer ever... and you always will be.



Decided to go to sleep for a little bit and then wake up tomorrow and continue playing. I just wanted to share my impressions for the day.

Oh yeah, I haven't even touched the guilds yet, barely explored 1/3 the map, only did 1 sidequest, and only about 1/3 of the MQ. I haven't done anything like buy a house, get a companion, or any crafting yet either. So... wow lol.
