So hopefully I'm just missing something obvious here, but I can't figure out how to get out of Fulgunthur. I went through the whole dungeon, killed what's-his-name in the crypt, got the shout and then of course it let me out near the beginning where you first pick up the ivory claw.


There's this hallway that I came in through and it's got a gate on either side with chains next to each door. First door works fine. I pull the chain and walk into the hallway. I get to the end of it where the second gate is and there's the pressure plate with the flame thrower next to the chain. I pulle the chain and it makes it's little noise, but the gate stays closed. No idea what I'm doing wrong here. Any help would be appreciated.

I feel sheepish. Restarted the box and reloaded the game from that point and the chain opened the door fine.
