I can no longer assign favorites. It worked for a couple hours, and then broke. It is annoying to have to navigate the terrible UI to equip something. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes this happens to anyone remapping the F key.

Yeah I remapped the F key, forgetting it was the favorites button, and then I reverted back to the original once I found this bug. That didn't help, though... is my game permanently like this?

I haven't remapped the f key. Still # assignments, other than 1, seem to get lost. Ex: I set up 1 for 1 handed sword and 2 for bow (starting with sword equipped), pres 2 and bow is equipped, pres 1 and sword is equipped, press 2 again and nothing. I open the favorites with q and bow is no longer assigned to 2. ??

Hi,

A bug has been identified that if you've hot-keyed an item which you have more than one of, sometimes the game loses the hot-key mapping. It doesn't do it for all weapons however, adding to the confusion.

For example, I had a basic bow, mapped to "3" - I think it was the Long Bow. The mapping worked fine. I looted some more bows of the same type and the mapping Still worked fine. I found the slightly better "Hunters Bow" and mapped that, however, as soon as I picked up a 2nd "Hunters Bow" my mapping failed.

A frustrating glitch, but one that can be patched I'm sure.

Would be nice if we could get some feedback from Bethesda so we know they are listening and have plans to fix it.

That might be my problem as I have 3 bows. Thanks!
